|If you're buying all
of your check valves from the O.E.M., you're paying too much!
PS&E check valves are made from significantly higher quality
tool steels than available through the O.E.M. Along with better quality,
PS&E provides customized designing of the check valve to
successfully work with your brand of molding machine and type of
application. And PS&E offers them at significantly lower prices than
the O.E.M. can offer. PS&E check valves are the BEST
VALUE in the industry!
We stock a wide variety of brands, plus we also can manufacture any check valve. Using your sample tip assembly, your print or a print from our extensive library, we will manufacture a screw tip assembly to match your specific requirements. PS&E check valves are available in a wide variety of tool steels to match your application.
|The following brands of check valves are in stock and ready to ship.|
Chaun Lih Fa
Cincinnati Vista Sentry
Van Dorn / Demag
Van Dorn / GT
YCI - Supermax
We can make any check valve!
We have an extensive CAD library consisting of thousands of prints for screw tips, check valves, barrels, screw, nozzles, end caps, etc. If you need a quote and there isn't a print available, simply send us a used sample part and specify what material you want the new one made from. (Hint: Always save your original check valves. They are valuable for verification of dimensions when ordering new assemblies.)
No one check valve design is perfect for every application; therefore, we offer three distinct designs to ensure the proper component for your application.
Improved Designs With Non-Rotating Rings For These Popular Brands:

H-13 Tool Steel
A good high strength pre-hardened tool steel which is machined, thru-hardened, and ground dimensionally, then nitride hardened for 72 hours for better wear resistance. H-13 is tough and can handle pressure and torque.
D-2 Tool Steel
A high carbon/high chrome tool steel with good wear resistance, but low on torque strength. D-2 should only be used with 4-piece designs where the stud is manufactured from 4140, H-13 or another high torque steel.
A new generation tool steel with a high percentage of vanadium carbide developed for high wear (abrasive) applications. It resists wear from abrasive fillers in resin. (Construction: Carbon 1.8%, Manganese 0.50%, Silicon 0.9%, Chromium 5.25%, Molybdenum 1.3%, Vanadium 9.0%.)
Crucible's CPM®-420V is a new stainless tool steel best suited for corrosion resistant applications. CPM®-420V is a higher performance upgrade from CPM®-440V. Corrosion resistance is significantly better than CPM®-440V. Wear resistance is about 25-50% better than CPM®-440V, due to the higher vanadium carbide content of CPM®-420V (9% vanadium vs. 5.5-6% in CPM®-440V).
Crucible's CPM®-M4 is a high vanadium, special purpose, high speed steel exhibiting better wear resistance and toughness than D-2 or CPM®-9V. CPM®-M4 has a hardness rating of 64.0. (Construction: Carbon 1.42%, Chromium 4.0%, Vanadium 4.0%, Tungsten 5.5%, Molybdenum 5.25%.)
